Scott Yocum founded Yocum Real Estate Centre in 2020 after serving 33 years as a real estate agent in the State College area. Scott
Scott Yocum was born, raised, and educated in Centre County. A 1978 graduate of Penn State’s College of Agricultural Business, he owned and operated Penns Valley Livestock Auction from 1981-1989, and became a licensed real estate agent in 1987. Since then, he has continued to develop his skills and expertise in every area of real estate right here in Centre County. He founded the local branch of RE/MAX Realty in 1992, and served as its president and CEO until 2015.

Scott holds an alphabet soup’s worth of professional designations and memberships, including CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), a distinction that fewer than three percent of realtors hold; ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative); CRB (Certified Residential Broker); and GRI (Graduate, Realtors Institute).

What all this means to you is that Scott knows every neighborhood in Centre County, and his knowledge of real estate is second to none.

Theresa
Theresa Layton is a Penn State graduate in Animal Business Science and has had a lifelong interest in horses and riding. She came to real estate in 2018 after serving as the general manager for General Nutrition Center for many years, and has been working with Scott Yocum as a buyer’s agent ever since. Theresa continues working with horses professionally as well as in her free time, and has served as the barn manager for CNF Quarter Horses since 2011.
